In another sign of the significance of virtual reality,
MIT hackers transformed the Harvard benefactor into a character from the popular video game.

By the way, the “reality” of the permanent statue is that it is known as the “three lies” because it doesn't depict John Harvard, he was a benefactor rather than a found as claimed on the statue, and that the implied year of the founding of Harvard is wrong on the statue.
